At least 15 laborers including 6 women,2 children died and 5 sustained severe injuries in a traumatic road accident, while their Papaya-laden truck overturns in Yawal taluka of Jalgaon district, Maharashtra; around 1 am on Monday.
According to the sources,5 injured peoples were rushed to Yawal Rural Hospital. The laborers were from Raveer, Abhoda, and Kerhala districts and went to Yawal for papaya loading, on their way home the truck developed a snug following which driver lost control near a temple at Kingaon village.
"The victims died of suffocation, all of them were sitting on heaps of papaya" said Sudhir Patil, Sub-inspector, Yawal Police Station. He also said that according to the initial reports 10 of the victims are from the same family. An investigation has been launched to probe the matter.

In another similar road mishap on Sunday,14 people including a child and eight women were killed and 4 others injured- after a minibus collided with a truck in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district. The Prime minister and the Home minister had tweeted their concerns over the tragedy.
