In the latest case in a series of disturbing sexual assault incidents in the country, three youths allegedly gang-raped a 21-year-old girl within the jurisdiction of Allavaram police station in East Godavari district Andhra Pradesh. The three also clicked nude pictures of the survivor and later used them to extort her. As per reports, the incident happened two weeks ago when the girl had gone to a beach near Komaragiripatnam Kadadari with her male friend. The three accused spotted the girl and her friend and waylaid them. The girl and friend flared up in protest, following which the youths smashed them severely, and tied the girl’s friend.
