638 empty oxygen cylinders seized in Ghaziabad; man arrested.

Police informed on April 30, that a man identified as Sameer (a resident of Shahdara in Delhi) is arrested for selling empty oxygen cylinders at extremely high prices to people. From the factory in Sahibabad site-4 industrial area, around the police seized 638 empty cylinders. SSP Amit Pathak said the arrested confessed that he was selling empty cylinders at Rs 10,000 to Rs 30,000. They identified the owner of the factory as Jai Gopal Mehta. He is a resident of Preet Vihar Colony in Delhi. Police said that Jai is on the run and that they are looking for him. They have filed a case under the Essential Commodities Act.
