A man stucked in mountain cliff in Sikkim was rescued by ITBP personnel


On Saturday, Indo-Tibetan Border Police rescued a man who was stuck in the middle of the mountain cliff. The man who was rescued is a resident of Sikkim.


ITBP has informed that "A rescue team from the 48th Battalion of ITBP mountaineers rescued a person identified as Ujwal Rai with the help of locals after hours of hardship. The person was nervous, scared and shivering. He had sustained minor injuries and first aid was provided to him."


According to the police report, the man had gone to the cliff behind the Reserve Engineer Force camp in Lachung to repair a water pipeline. But he was unable to come back as he got stucked in the middle of the mountain cliff. After being informed police force has rushed to the spot and had recused him. Later, ITBP personnel were called to help the police officers in rescuing that person.
