A mass mob destroyed a Hindu Temple set it on fire. This shameful act was executed by the members of the radical Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Party. The incident occurred in a Terri village near the northwestern town of Karak in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Human Right Activists protested against this vandalization, however, Shireen Mazari, Human Rights Minister condemned too.
Mazari respects all the beliefs and appealed for the immediate arrest of the culprits. District administrators have also lodged FIR and took twenty-six people in custody.
This outbreak came after the minority (Hindu Community) got permitted to build a new temple in Islamabad.
Amir Maulana Ataur Rahman provoked the mass with his fierce speech which led to the revolt. The situation was peace out after the police reached the spot.
Maulana denied anticipating such an incident after the media claimed his party to be the culprit. According to his statement, the incident happened after their rally passed from that way.
Leader of Hindu Community Peshawar Haroon Sarab Diyal stated the vandalized temple was the holy site where Hindu religious leaders were cremated.
About 90 lakhs Hindu resides in Pakistan, the act has shattered the community's sentiments. Though such an incident isn't new to them as they're usually harassed by the extremists on the daily basis.
