Anantnag: Security forces of Jammu and Kashmir exposed a terrorist hideout on Sunday. They managed to seize huge amount of arms and ammunitions from the hideout. This disclosure took place in Anantnag area of South Kashmir.
The hideout stood in a forest area which the security forces busted. The police received a lead after the arrest of the convict in Wednesday’s attack on Krishna Dhaba. A tweet by J&K Police said, “ Arms and ammunition including three AK 56 rifles, two Chinese pistols, two grenades, telescope, AK/Pistol magazines and other incriminating material recovered”.
The Police had arrested three alleged attackers associated with the Krishna Dhaba attack. They had recovered a pistol and a bike utilized in perpetrating the crime.
The army had planned a joint attack as per information received from J&K Police. The inputs followed Wednesday’s attack in Srinagar. A tweet from Chinar Corps shows that an apprehended suspect led to the recoveries. The operation teams got to two separate locations in Anantnag following the suspect.
