A new variant of Covid-19: Singapore on Sunday warned that the new Covid variant is affecting more children which eventually led to the shutting down of schools and colleges. CM’s tweet: Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, tweeted that the new variant in Singapore, can mark as an advent of the third wave of Covid-19 in India, which is mostly affecting children, and urged the center to take immediate measures which include suspension of flight to and from Singapore. Second, the center should prioritize vaccine options, which should work for children too. The target of new wave: children The first wave has affected the elderly, the second wave affecting the youngsters, however, Dr. Devi Shetty, cardiac surgeon and chief of Narayana Health said, "There is a possibility that the third wave virus will predominantly target the children, mainly because adults are infected or immunized." The government’s principal scientific advisor, K. VijayRaghavan warmed the third wave is inevitable and suggested that vaccines should be updated to deal with the tough times.
