The police reported that three people were killed and over 20 others injured in a bomb blast outside the house of the Mumbai terror attack mastermind and JuD chief Hafiz Saeed in Lahore.
Bomb disposal teams reached the site of the incident soon after the explosion which took place at BOR Society in Jauhar Town and started rescue operations. The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has now taken over the case.
The blast which took place was at BOR Society, Johar Town, at the police picket outside Saeed's residence.
"Explosive material was installed in the car. There was a police picket outside the high-value target's house. The car could not cross the police picket."
Interrogating reporters, Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab Inam Ghani reported that three people were killed in the blast and over 20 others injured.
