Manju Rana, Director, and Principal Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundra, Ghaziabad, is totally against the cancellation of the class 12 board examination and is of opinion that these exams are the touchstone of academic assessment in higher education. She further added that the criterion of standardization of marks for class 10, shouldn’t be extrapolated to class 12, because college education is found on quality high school education which can be best evaluated through board examination. The officials said, exams cannot be delayed after the month of July, since the entire exam process takes a month or two, the evaluation, result declaration, and in some cases, rechecking of copies.
