COVID-19 cases alarmingly on the way up in Kerala and Maharashtra!

In a very scary situation, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has declared Covid19 cases is increasing again very rapidly in India.74% case has increased in Kerala and Maharashtra. Madhyapradesh, Punjab, Chattishgarh, Jammu, and Kashmir also facing a daily spike in coronavirus infections.

83 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours in the whole country.78.31% of the new Coronavirus-related casualties have found in 5 states.

In Maharashtra 38 Covid Patients died in the last 24 hours.15 in Kerala,6 in Punjab,5 in Chattishgarh, and 4 in Madhyapradesh.

According to the statistics released by the Health Ministry,19 states/UTs have not reported any Covid19 deaths in the last 24 hours. They are Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, J&K, Rajasthan, Odisha, Goa, Chandigarh, Assam, Manipur, Sikkim, Lakshadweep, Tripura, Nagaland, Ladakh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Daman and Diu and Dadar and Nagar Haveli and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Till today Country's active caseload reaches 1,50,055.

In the last 24 hours,14,199, new daily Coronavirus cases have been registered in India, out of which 86.3% of new cases are from 5 states.

Maharashtra has registered 6,971 infections in the last 24 hours whereas Kerala has registered 4,070, Tamil Nadu 452, Karnataka 413, and Punjab 348 cases.

According to the reports, 6,20,216 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in India. India's National Positivity Rate reaches 5.20%.

The report disclosed by the Health Ministry on Monday states, "Progressive countrywide expansion in testing infrastructure has played a crucial role in the steep rise of testing numbers. With 2393 testing labs in the country including 1,220 government laboratories and 1,173 Private laboratories, the daily testing capacity has got a substantial boost."

Around 11million people have been vaccinated so far and the Vaccination campaign is going on with a wartime rapidity.
