Covid-19: Uttarakhand set to reopen schools, leaves parents worried

Attendance would be limited to 50% following an odd-even rule by going for roll numbers

After a gap of seven months, Uttarkhand Government has announced the reopening of schools for classes X and XII. The school management has decided to limit the attendance to 50% by keeping an odd-even rule of roll numbers.

However, they refused to take any blame if any student catches the virus despite adhering to all the Covid protocols.

Parents are left worried as they don't wish to send their yards out for schools if neither the school management nor the government is willing to take responsibility of contraction among students.

The management will ensure proper sanitization of school buses and the premises. Also, students will be strictly advised to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

A thorough thermal screening will be followed and students will be granted entry only after it. School assembly and sports period have been banned for the time being.
