Dispute in Una, ITBP jawan shot dead.

A 37-year-old Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawan was shot dead over a land dispute at Nangra village of UNA. The victim, Vipin Kumar, an assistant sub-inspector, got embroiled in a very land dispute with one Jawant Singh. The deceased, identified as Vipin Kumar, was posted as ASI in ITBP in Chhattisgarh. They have identified the accused as Jaswant Singh, who is also a resident of Nangra village. According to police, ITBP Jawan Vipin was murdered thanks to a land dispute. He had returned to his village two days before. According to the attention witnesses, Vipin was harvesting wheat from his land with some laborers when the accused together with three others came there during a vehicle. The accused then shot Vipin within the chest, fatally wounding him. The accused immediately fled the spot while eyewitnesses rushed Vipin to Regional Hospital, Una, where he was declared brought dead. Since the incident was reported, a police team reached the spot and began the investigation. The accused surrendered after few hours. Superintendent of Police (SP) Una Vinod Dhiman confirmed the report and said further investigations are happening. The police also are taking the help of a forensic team to assemble evidence.
