The Central government, on Monday, announced that they are ready to talk to farmers on the afternoon of Tuesday. the Farm leaders told the press that they have taken the invitation positively but will make a decision after attending the meeting.
The Home Minister met Tomar on Monday morning and the meeting of Tomar was shifted from 3rd December to 1st. However, the Agriculture Ministry said that the meeting was rescheduled owing to the cold and the covid situation. Every farmer organization who was part of the earlier meeting was reinvited at Vigyan Bhavan at 3 pm on Tuesday. Jagmohan Singh told the source after confirming the news that they will positively take the decision but will make a final decision after the meeting.
Earlier PM Modi told that his government can no way deceive the farmers and the newer farm laws will provide farmers with legal protection along with new facilities. He accused the opposition of spreading misleading news and told that it is their propaganda.
