Five people arrested for filming porn in Mumbai bungalow


Five people including two actors were arrested for uploading pornographic videos of young people at the bungalow of Malvani.


They were promising youngsters to give opportunities in movies, series, and web series and then they used to shoot their videos and upload them on pornographic sites. After getting proper information Inspector Dheeraj Koli, Assistant Inspectors Laxmikant Salunkhe, Sunil Mane, Amit Bhosale, Yogesh Khanure, Archana Patil, Sonali Bharate, and Amaldar under the guidance of Senior Inspector Kedari Pawar, in-charge of the property cell raided Green Park Bungalow in Madh, Malvani on Thursday.


When the police raided the bungalow caught the gang red-handed. They found a man and a woman in a compromising position where others including two women were filming them. According to police officials, the gang used to run an app named 'Hit Hot movies' where they used to upload pornographic videos produced by them.


The gang includes a photographer, a graphic designer, two actors, and a cameraman. The gang used to rent bungalows in Mumbai and shoot videos over there. Many poor and needy people were involved in this crime. Police didn't arrest the female artist who was getting filmed but others were arrested at the spot. Police froze the bank account of the main member and found 36.60 lakh.


Kedari Pawar, a senior inspector of the Property Cell said, "The accused target needy women and also those who had dreams of becoming a Bollywood actress or model. By promising them a break into mainstream films, then put them into a trap and forced them into such activities".


An offense under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections was registered at the Malvani police station. On Friday, the accused were produced in court and were instructed to keep them in custody till February 10.
