Former CBI chief Ranjit Sinha passes away

Corona cases in the country crossed 2 lakh for the second consecutive day. The number of deaths has also increased. The crisis is constantly deepening. Former CBI director Ranjit Sinha died in Delhi on Friday morning. If the authorities believe this is a death related to Kovid-19. He was 68. Ranjit Sinha was confirmed to be Corona positive on Thursday night and died on Friday morning. Ranjit Sinha was an IPS officer of the 1974 Bihar cadre.

Ranjit Sinha was the director-general of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) force. He also led the Railway Protection Force. Prior to his appointment as CBI chief, Ranjit Sinha held senior CBI positions in Patna and Delhi. He became CBI chief in 2012.
