Four football players along with president of FC and pilot died in a plane crash



Four football players- Lucas Praxedes, Guilherme Noe, Ranule, Marcus Molinari along with the president of Palmas football club, Lucas Meira died when their plane crashed on takeoff on Sunday. They were going to the Brazilian Cup game. The pilot named Wagner also died on spot.

The plane was heading towards Goiania which was around 500 miles away. They were going to play Vila Nova on Monday in the last 16 of the Copa Verde. A tournament was reserved for teams outside the traditional powerhouse of southern and northeastern Brazil. The Palmas football club said, " At the 'Tocantenense Aviation Association', The plane took off and crashed at the end of the runway". They mourned in the heart-wrenching incident.

Two years ago, a helicopter crashed in the state of Goias. Former International captain Fernando died in that crash. The club didn't say in what kind of plane they were heading towards their destination.
