Four killed in cylinder blast.


At a house in Shahdara's Farsh Bazar area, the explosion took place in the early hours of Wednesday.

The deceased have been identified as Munni Devi, Naresh, Om Prakash, and Lal Chand, reported by Delhi Fire services. A fire services official claimed,


After the cylinder blast at a house in Bhikam Singh Colony, the call regarding the fire was received at 12.12 a.m. and nine fire tenders were pressed into service.

According to the reports made by the fire department, five persons were admitted to the hospital whereas three died of suspected smoke inhalation, one suffered burn injuries.

DFS Director Atul Garg said;

"A fire broke out at a house because of a leakage in an LPG gas cylinder, resulting in the death of four people due to smoke inhalation, while another person sustained burn injuries and was shifted to Hedgewar hospital through CATS."
