The Father of a 13-year-old minor girl died after being hit by a truck a day after he complained about three people who had gang-raped his daughter. The family members of the victim alleged that the father was killed by one of the gang-rape accused whose brother had threatened him to kill if he takes the matter to the police.
As per the Kanpur Police, the father's accident occurred outside the hospital where the victim was taken for a medical checkup. The incident took place in the Sajeti Police Station region of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Kin blocked the Kanpur -Sagar highway in protest of the police's conspiracy to save the accused. They demanded fair and proper investigation into the matter of murder and its conspiracy.

Two days ago, the 13-year-old minor girl was abducted and gang-raped by a few men in her neighborhood. According to the complaint filed at the Sajeti Police Station, three locals named Golu Yadav, Deepu Yadav, and Saurabh Yadav sexually assaulted and raped her.
Police have registered a case of gangrape and abduction against all three accused. The two of the gang-rape accused Deepu Yadav and Saurabh Yadav's father allegedly works as a sub-inspector in UP Police. The prime accused Golu Yadav is under arrest. Police are on the search to nab all the remaining accused who was part of the minor's gang rape and her father's alleged murder.
Kanpur Police chief Dr. Preetinder Singh briefed the matter and stated that " while the medical examination was on, the father stepped out for a cup of tea. At the time, we have learned that he was involved in a truck accident. He was rushed to a Kanpur hospital, but he has died. We have filed an accident case and we are investigating".
UP Police has formed five teams to investigate the case swiftly. "The truck that was involved in the alleged accident be recovered and its driver arrested," UP Police stated.
