As per the information, one of the victims informed about this whole incident to the local NGO.
On Wednesday, BJP MLA Shweta Mahale raised the incident where women residing in a women's hostel in Jalgaon were allegedly made to strip & dance while being filmed in Maharashtra Assembly.
MLA Shweta Mahala said, "It is very shocking that women were made to dance nude and filmed in government ladies hospital. Police officials who are supposed to protect women are also part of this shameful act."
She added, "I was shocked to see the reply from the home minister who initially said 'noted'. Later he announced the committee had been formed and within two days it will submit a report to the government."
According to the information, In Jalgaon city's Ganesh colony area there is the state government's ladies hostel named 'Ashadip'. On March 01, few police officials and men from the local area entered a hostel in the name of an inquiry about some illegal activity happening in the hostel premises.
As per the information, one of the victims informed them about this whole incident to a local NGO. Later NGO approached the collector and asked to intervene in this.
BJP leader Sudhir Mingantiwar slammed the government and said, "on the floor of the house that there are law and order issue in the state and if the situation continues to prevail then I will ask President to impose 'President's rule' in the state."
Yashomati Thakur, Women and Child Development Minister said, "Home Minister has initiated an inquiry into this. In two days, we will get a report and immediate action will be taken against the guilty, no one will be spared."
