Government announced COVID vaccination to all govt. employees

All government employees in the state will be vaccinated against coronavirus. Teachers and non-teaching staff of all government schools will also be vaccinated. Today, the Chief Secretary informed about this decision in Nabanna. According to sources, the Election Commission recently informed the state to make arrangements for COVID vaccination of polling workers.

This time the state government has decided that all government employees will be vaccinated against coronavirus. Government school teachers and non-teaching staff will also be vaccinated. On Thursday, the chief secretary held a meeting with all the district governors and officials of various departments. At that meeting, he informed about the government's decision.


According to sources, the Election Commission recently informed the state government that government employees who will be employed in the polls will have to be vaccinated against corona beforehand.


The number of government employees in the state is about 9 lakh. Nabanna did not say for how many days they would be vaccinated.
