Husband abetted Ayesha to commit suicide: Arrested from Rajasthan


The conversation between them is leading towards the conclusion that her husband is the main accused of abetting Ayesha to commit suicide.


Ayesha's suicide case again reminds us that women's exploitation still exists very widely in our society. 23-year-old Ayesha Banu Makrani committed suicide. Her husband Aarif khan abetted her to do so.


Ayesha was a victim of domestic violence since she got married in 2018. Her husband had been harassing her for the dowry of Rs 1.5 lakh.


As per the Ahmedabad police, Ayesha allegedly jumped into the river due to her harassment and mental torcher by her husband. Before committing suicide she recorded a video after said by her husband Aarif.


In the video, it can be seen that Ayesha was smiling and saying that whatever she is doing, she is doing without any pressure and she is glad that she will meet Allah and make Aarif free from her life. However, she told her father that she didn't want Aarif in her life anymore and she is tired of life.


Her body was recovered later on the day. After the analysis by police, Ayesha's husband was booked under IPC section 306 for the abetment to suicide. Police say that it has obtained all the call details. She had a talk with her husband and her father on February 25. The conversation between them is leading towards the conclusion that her husband is the main accused of abetting Ayesha to commit suicide.


The Ahmedabad police arrested Aarif Khan from the Pali district of Rajasthan on Tuesday.
