IS attack on Afghanistan University, 22 lives taken


Kabul University was attacked by IS militants and killed 22 people


Kabul University in Afghanistan was truly taken aback when three Islamic State militants barged into the university, killing at least 22 people, mostly students. The three gunmen were later shot dead.

The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi condemned the shameful act to be a "cowardly attack" and assured that India will continue to support Afganistan in its struggle against terrorism. Such an incident gets repeated twice within the same month when the IS had attacked and killed 24 students in another educational institution

As the militants attacked the university campus, the students and taken aback and unrest prevailed when the students and professors were running helter-skelter. Grenade explosion and automated rifle fire filled the air, claiming the lives of 22 individuals.


Soon enough, Afghan security forces took over the entire campus and could successfully put an end to the militants who caused great harm.
