Man Murders Wife in Rajasthan: Poses to Give False Impression of Suicide

Mukesh Erwal, a 32-year-old man of Kota district in Rajasthan had hanged her wife from the ceiling and left no stone unturned to conceal the crime, trying to make it look like a suicide.

The wife Santosh’s (30) body was found hanging from the ceiling in her house which is located in Karwad village under Itawa Police Station on Monday.

During the probe, the Police found allegations from the victim’s relatives that she was deliberately killed. After the woman's brother complained, the husband was arrested & taken in custody on Monday evening.

The investigators managed to debunk the apparent façade of suicide which was created to manipulate the clear strangulation crime scene by the perpetrator. The Station House Officer (SHO) said that the couple has been married for 10 years but over the past few years their relationship had strained. They often had arguments & fights. They have two children with the following age 8 & 5.

Confronted with the questions, the man confessed to having murdered his wife. Legal proceedings are opened against him under section 302(murder) of IPC. The accused was produced before the court on Tuesday that sent him in jail custody.
