Minor Nepali girl gang raped and brutally killed in Bihar

Bihar: A heart-wrenching incident came to light on Monday when a 12-year-old Nepali minor girl was gang-raped and murdered. She was burnt alive by the culprits and when her mother begged for mercy, they cremated her. The deceased's father was threatened and asked to not tell anything to the police.

Bahadur, who worked as a guard at Chainpur market and belongs to a village in the Barbadiya district of Nepal. He used to live with his wife and daughter in a rented room at the house of Siyaram Sah for the last 7 years. On 21st January, Bahadur and his wife had gone to the market and their daughter was alone in the room. Vinay, with three of his associates, allegedly gang-raped the minor and murdered her. Bahadur filed an FIR and alleged that when he returned home, his daughter was lying in a pool of blood. He took her to the local primary health center where the doctor declared her dead. He alleged that houseowner Siyaram and his supporters took him and his wife hostage and cremated the body the same night. Bahadur said they threatened him with dire consequences if he tried to report the case to the police.

A recorded phone call between the accused and SHO was leaked and went viral on the internet in no time. In the tape, the SHO is being heard directly to destroy the evidence of rape and murder. The special investigation team will investigate the incident deeply. SHO Sanjiv Kumar Ranjan has been suspended for helping the gang in suppressing the heinous crime.

Jitendra Kumar, ADG said on Monday that the victim's body was cremated without conducting any postmortem. He also added that legal actions will be taken against the accused officer as per the evidence against him.
