Lucknow: For the initiation of women empowerment and women security of UP Government, "Mission Shakti" will be a subject for school-level competitions to blemish on December 25, the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The Government directs to create the plan of action approved and to increase social awareness by elevating "Mission Shakti Ki Safalta Ke Vibhinn Aayam" as a concept of an essay competition for school children.
From Balrampur Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in October launched this plan of action. According to him, it is a need to broadcast the new generation which promises respect for women. Primarily boys should come to this thought, for that they can learn how to respect women. Girl students who participate in the program will also grasp of "Mission Shakti" program.
This plan of action confirms women's safety at strict, home, workplaces. This program stands for immediate punishment of crime against women and promises them to give their rights. Under this rule, various Government departments have already taken steps to make sure women's security and empowerment. Women help counters have been created in police stations in addition to a separate room for women complaints.
Apart from that, another crucial issue is struggling with is "rozgar". This is the subject of students. Shiksha department under "Mission Shakti" drive is already connecting to lakhs of students over State to outspread consciousness on women safety and introducing students the reality when they grow up will respect women.
Over one lakh students in November from Lucknow participated from primary, upper primary, and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas in several events. It is pointed to aware students on Women Empowerment. It gives life skill training to both teachers and students.
The program was conducted in the first week of November. The basic aim of students of all schools on gender equality. Parents also participated in the gender inequality session. Those are also existing in their houses. Special sessions were for girl students on menstrual hygiene. Legal medication on underage marriage, criminal harassment against women were also debated.
Over 7,000 students attended this training program where 6,700 students told about the hazards of drug addiction.
