Debt-ridden man shot himself dead in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The body of a man who allegedly shot himself was found near Gautam Buddh Nagar Collectorate, Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning.
Residents spotted Nirdesh lying dead on the service lane of the collectorate, in Surajpur police station area. He belonged to Kasganj district in western Uttar Pradesh. A senior officer stated, Nirdesh was staying on rent in Surajpur, Greater Noida.
Central Noida DCP Harish Chander suggested that the incident happened around midnight. He added that the police were informed on Tuesday morning about the shot body. The police had reached the spot instantly.
Initial investigation has revealed that he was under debt. He had contacted some for a loan and the financial depravity made him shoot himself.
An initial investigation by the forensic team has revealed it to be a suicide case. DCP stated the body has been taken into custody and will be sent for autopsy.
Further investigation has revealed that the bullet was fired on the right side of the temple, emerging out from the left. This shot had left a mark on his head. DCP also mentioned a pistol with a used bullet shell was found from the spot.
The family of the deceased is contacted and further proceedings are still being carried out.
