Fashion Revolutionist Pierre Cardin Demised At The Age of 98

Cardin's family announced his death to Agence France-Presse today. He passes away in a hospital in Neuilly in the west of Paris.
Pietro Costante Cardini was born in July 1922, just outside of Venice, Italy. He was one of the immigrants. The designer initiated his career with Jean Cocteau and Christian Dior in 1947. He set up his own fashion company in 1950. His career spanned more than 7 decades from the 1950s to the 1960s.
After the news broke in his Official Instagram Account posted one of his quote “I have always worked in my own style, which is different from all others. It was always my intention to be different because that is the only way to last.”
Cardin even designed an Apollo 11 space suit for NASA in 1971. In an interview, he even stated “In 2069, we will all walk on the moon or Mars wearing my 'Cosmocorps' ensembles. Women will wear Plexiglas cloche hats and tube clothing. Men will wear elliptical pants and kinetic tunics.”
