PM Modi announced Matsya Sampada Yojna to promote fisheries in the country
PM Narendra Modi on Thursday video conferencing announced Matsya Sampada Yojana.
"Today the scheme is being launched & total spending of Rs 20,0000 will be there for the next 4-5 years works worth Rs 1700 crore is being started today", PM said.
"Under this scheme, several facilities have been inaugurated in Patna, Sitamarhi, Madhepura, Kishanganj&Samastipur", he saidPM also added, this is the first vast scheme plan to promote fisheries in-country, and the goal is to double fish exports in the coming 3-4 years.
Fish producers will also get enhanced equipment along with the promotion of a new market which will result in good earning.
The Blue, White & sweet revolution will also get a positive impact through this scheme.PM said," center is also looking forward to initiating IVF technique to turn one calve to several calves in a year".
