Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about the poet and freedom fighter Subramanya Bharathi in a video conference Vanavil Cultural Centre


PM Modi said that Mahakavi Bharatiyar's visibility of progression had the main role for women. Modi said we should be by his vision and we should work to make sure women-led development.


Modi clarified that the poorest women are getting benefits from the Government's 10 crores of hygienic and safe toilets. They are not facing problems like before. Also, he said, "It is the time for new India's Nari Shakti. This is the new India's salute to Subramania Bharathi.


Narendra Modi said, remembering Bharathi's renowned lines "alchemilla alchemilla", youth can learn from Bharathi how to be courageous.


PM Modi said Bharathi's teachings are a powerful cue for us to unite and commit to the empowerment of every individual, especially for the poorer.


Modi said, his writings are the guidelines for our honored future.
