Parliament of the World's Religions
The first conference of the World's Parliament of Religions was held from 11 September 1893 to 27 September 1893 at Chicago in the United States of America. It was the first worldwide seminar organized to promote inter-religious faiths globally.

He began his greetings with the salutation "Sisters and Brothers of America! " which earned him a standing ovation from the crowds of thousands and the applauds of appreciation lasted for two minutes.
This day is marked as the introduction of the essence of Hinduism in the history of the world.
