Six died when lorry rammed into a rickshaw

Mahabubabad: Six people died in a fatal accident when a lorry rammed into an auto-rickshaw which was carrying 6 people.



The rickshaw was going towards the outskirts of marrimita village of Gudur Mandal in the district on Friday. Police identified the deceased which were a family of Jatoth Kasna, his wife Jatoth Kalyani(48), Jatoth Parmeela(23), son Jatoth Pradeep (25). Their relative Jatoth Prasad (42), his daughter Jatoth Divya (19), and auto driver Jatoth Ramu (33). They all were from Errakunta Thanda of Gudur Mandal.


According to their family relatives' statement, all of them were going to Narsampet to purchase clothes for their daughter prameela's marriage which became fixed a few months ago. When the auto reached near Marrimita, an over speeding lorry which was coming from Narsampet rammed into them.


Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has mourned over the brutal accident and also expressed condolences to the kin of the deceased family members. Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Minister for Tribal Welfare Satyavathi Rathod also expressed condolences to them. Dayakar Rao stated that they would help the kin of the deceased families.
